Hot Air Balloon Experience: The Rush of Elevation

Travelling to Dubai and the thrilling Hot Air Balloon Ride was on my bucket list forever. So when my friends surprised me with the Dubai trip at the end of January, I was thrilled and excited. What will be the hot air balloon experience? How exciting will I feel? It was all I could think about. When the day finally came and my 2 friends and I left for the airport. It took us around 3 and a half hours to reach Dubai from India. The moment we all landed, we were all super excited for the hot air balloon ride experience.

My Adventure During The Hot Air Balloon Ride Experience  

We woke up around 3 AM. Furthermore, we all woke up at the same time due to our blood pumping with excitement. We all got ready and went down the stairs, where our ride was waiting for us to pick up. After getting off our ride, we interacted with other people while waiting for the instructions. After a little while, the instructor came and introduced us to the crew and the captain. They informed us what to do and what we should avoid under all conditions. After the safety instructions were completed, they made a few jokes that were a really fun vibe. We also signed a waiver before the ride, as it was a compulsory process.

In-flight experience!  

After everything was set up for our safety, they started to inflate the balloon in front of us. The blood in my body is rushing as the biggest wish on my bucket list has come true. There were a total of 15 more people aside from us in the basket.

When the pilot finally gave the signal to fly, I felt was out of this world. The hot air balloon started going up little by little till we were 4000 ft above the land. There were so many desert animals that were spotted by me, like the camels, Arabian oryx, etc. The ride was 30 to 45 minutes long, but it felt like 10 minutes. The view, the adventure, and the thrill during the hot air balloon experience were so fun. I thought I’d be cold, so I kept a scarf with me, but I didn’t feel cold due to the burner. As scary as it was, it was the best adventure my friends and I could ask for.

The best way to dress for the hot air balloon experience  

I did my research before the hot air balloon ride experience, and it was advised to wear loose, airy, and comfortable clothing. So, my friends and I wore sweatpants and tank tops. We know we will be standing during the whole flight, so we wore sneakers or flats. I would advise the same to everyone.

The Thrill After The Ride!  

Later, when we landed from the most fun hot air balloon ride experience, we were picked up. After that, we were served the most delicious breakfast. There were a lot of options to choose from, but we only ate the yummy eggs, coffee, and sandwiches. After breakfast, the fun activities began.

My friends and I sat on top of a camel and experienced Dune Bashing for the first time. We had a lot of fun while doing the activities with everyone else.
