At DubaiHotAirBalloonRide.com, we aim to provide clear booking terms so guests understand the requirements, payment conditions, cancellation rules, and procedures that apply to their flight. This booking policy explains the key terms that apply when booking a hot air balloon experience through our website.

Your booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from our team. Bookings are generally required by 3:00 PM on the day before the scheduled flight to allow time for operational planning. Late bookings may be accepted subject to availability and operational requirements.

Guests under 18 must have a parent, guardian, or other authorised adult complete the booking and payment on their behalf.
Booking Confirmation
A written confirmation will be sent by email or WhatsApp once payment is received. This includes your flight package, pick-up time, pick-up location, and booking reference. Pick-up times are typically in the early morning hours — between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM — and vary by season with sunrise. Please confirm your pick-up details carefully.
Required Documentation
If the required identification information is not provided within the specified timeframe, we may be unable to process or operate the booking. Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms. Failure to provide this information may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
Eligibility and Participation Requirements
The following guests are not permitted to participate in a hot air balloon flight:
- Pregnant women
- Guests with heart conditions, severe back or neck injuries, or recent surgery
- Children below the minimum age or height requirement specified in the package
- Guests who believe that a fear of heights may prevent them from safely participating in the experience.
Guests should disclose any medical condition or physical limitation that may affect their ability to participate safely and should seek appropriate medical advice where necessary before booking. Guests who arrive at the launch site and are found ineligible due to non-disclosed conditions will not be entitled to a refund.
Amendments
Amendment requests, including date changes, should be submitted as early as possible and are subject to availability and operational requirements. Rescheduling following a weather-related cancellation by us will not incur an additional rescheduling charge.

Weather-related cancellations initiated by us are handled separately under the Weather Cancellations section below. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and confirmed by our team. Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days via the original payment method.
Weather Cancellations
Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent and are operated in accordance with applicable GCAA aviation safety requirements. If the pilot assesses conditions as unsafe — including wind speeds, visibility, or atmospheric factors — the flight will be cancelled or postponed. In such cases:
- Guests will be notified as early as possible, typically the evening before or early on the morning of the flight
- Guests will be offered the choice of a rescheduled flight or a full refund
- No additional charges apply to rescheduling following a weather cancellation
The pilot’s decision regarding whether weather conditions are suitable for safe flight is final.
No-Shows
Guests who are not present at the confirmed pick-up location at the agreed time and have not contacted our team in advance may be treated as a no-show. No refund will be issued for a confirmed no-show.
Preparation Requirements
- Guests should wear comfortable, modest clothing. Warm layers are recommended for early morning departures
- Heavy luggage and large bags are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance, as they may affect available capacity and cannot normally be accommodated.
- All guests must complete and sign any required waiver, declaration, or indemnity form at the launch site before boarding.
- All guests must attend and comply with the pre-flight safety briefing
Conduct
Guests must follow all instructions from the pilot and ground crew throughout the experience. Failure to follow reasonable safety instructions from the pilot or ground crew may result in the guest being refused boarding or removed from the activity. No refund will be provided where removal is necessary because of the guest’s failure to comply with safety requirements.

Liability
DubaiHotAirBalloonRide.com, operated as part of Travel Saga Tourism, takes reasonable measures to support guest safety and follows applicable aviation and operational requirements.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate information, following safety instructions, and complying with the participation requirements communicated before and during the experience.
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including unsuitable weather conditions or other operational or safety requirements. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
